The African Waterski and Wakeboard Confederation is the Official representative non profit organisation for all Towed watersports in South Africa. The Federation has Divisions which govern and organise the activities within the specific inerest areas of the sport. Tournament ( Slalom, Tricks and Jumping), Wakeboarding behind a boat, Wakeboarding on a cable, Wake Surfing, Wake Skating, Ski Racing, Show Skiing, Disabled, Barefoot, etc.
Each Division operates independent from the others except when it comes to communication from other International Waterski & Wakeboard Bodies.

The officials and athletes in our sport are authorised and recognised by the IWWF AFCON and European Confederation. We have an agreement which allows our athletes to participate in the European Confederation competitions specifically although they are allowed to enter other competition in the world.
